Arianne Koven, C.N.H.P

Arianne Koven has been involved with holistic healing for the past twenty five years. During that period, she has studied a broad spectrum of disciplines with practitioners all over the world. This has afforded her an expansive overview and appreciation of the advantages achieved through the proper combining and balancing of the various available modalities.

PRACTICING HOLISTIC HEALER

Arianne Koven is a Board Certified Naturopath and holds the degree of Doctor of Holistic Healing from the Clayton School of Natural Healing in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition, she maintains an active practice in psychological counseling, having received extensive training in Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of Selves Therapy techniques, working under the direct supervision of Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone, the founders of this powerful transformational technique. She conducts both individual and group sessions on a regular basis, helping her clients to better appreciate their inner selves and to gain more awareness and empowerment to take control of their lives.

Born in South Africa, Arianne received her first training in herbal medicines from the shamans in the tribal communities in which she lived. She was trained in the cultivation of medicinal plants and frequently mixed herbal potions to administer to the local Africans. This knowledge of botanical medicine was greatly expanded through her studies of Bach Flower Remedies, Aroma Therapy and Homeopathy. Arianne is a practicing iridologist incorporating both the classical principles developed by Dr. Bernard Jensen and the advanced Iridology techniques practiced in Europe. She has also received two years of intensive training with Dwight D. Byers at the International Institute of Reflexology in Johannesburg, South Africa.

As a result of her deep appreciation of both traditional and modern practices, Arianne provides a truly holistic approach in her healing work — one that honors the inextricable mind/emotion, body and spirit connection.

EXTENSIVE TRAINING IN SPIRITUAL HEALING

Arianne has traveled extensively, studying spiritual healing techniques from a wide range tribal and mainstream practitioners. These include work with Josephine Sisson, one of the Philippines' more celebrated Psychic Surgeons, as well as intensive training with Clif Sanderson, recipient of the respected Albert Schweitzer prize for medicine. In addition, she has studied the oriental Ling Su in Hong Kong with the discipline's founder, Wilson Wang, M.D.; Holotropic Breathing Therapy in the United States with Stanislav Grof; Rebirthing with Jeremy Burnham in South Africa.

She studied with Israel Carmel, one of the world's most renowned and gifted Spiritual Healers, over a period of several months during which she refined her ability to channel healing energies to augment the rest of her more classical training in helping to alleviate emotional, physical and spiritual stress in her clients.

She has led on going meditation groups and helped train hundreds of people in focusing and honing their healing skills.
